Pharmacy Management System

For retail & hospital pharmacies

The dispensing queue, the stock room and the controlled-substance register in one place, with the checks that stop the wrong medicine leaving the counter.

Pharmacist preparing a prescription

Dispensing, step by step

How it works
01

The prescription arrives

Prescriptions land from consultations into a priority queue: life-sustaining medicines first, immediate urgency floating to the top.

02

Quantity for the full course

The pharmacist confirms the quantity that completes the prescribed course.

03

Stock gate

Dispensing is refused outright if stock is insufficient, rather than silently going negative.

04

Interaction check

The medicine is checked against the patient's other active prescriptions before it can be cleared.

05

Controlled drugs: witness first

For scheduled medicines a witness picker records the two-signature register movement before any stock moves.

06

Dispense

Stock is decremented, the prescription is marked dispensed, and the movement is audited.

07

Counsel and close

Counselling is recorded and the prescription completes; hold, clarification and stock-out branches keep unfinished items visible.

Prescription lifecycle

Statuses are a real state machine, not free text: every transition is stamped and audited.

Append-only controlled register

Inspection-grade: every movement (intake, dispense, waste, reconciliation, transfer) needs an operator and a distinct witness, a positive quantity and a non-negative running balance. Entries can never be edited or deleted.

Stock you can trust

Live status (adequate, low, critical, expired), stock received against batch and expiry, first-expiry-first-out tracking, reorder quantities and a printable purchase order.

Charged once

Medicines sent to pharmacy mid-visit are charged at send time, so completing the consultation does not bill them twice.
