Patient Portal
Patients' window into their own careThe patient's own web window into their care, separate from staff login and read-only where it should be. SMS is limited to configured login codes and reminders.

What a patient can do
How it works01Sign in
With a hospital ID and phone number, or name, date of birth and phone. The session is separate from staff login and clears on sign out.
02See the record
Medical records, prescriptions, lab results, radiology reports and immunisations, read-only. Pending lab work carries a pending badge rather than an empty space.
03Book an appointment
Date, morning or afternoon, department, and reason. The request arrives as requested for facility staff to confirm.
04Pay a bill
Real invoices, with anything over thirty days flagged overdue. Payment by mobile money, card or bank transfer arrives pending for facility verification.
05Message the facility
A conversation with a facility department; staff replies appear in the same thread.
06Keep details current
Patients view and update their own demographics, which reduces the front desk's re-keying at the next visit.
Booking lifecycle
Statuses are a real state machine, not free text: every transition is stamped and audited.
Who uses it
Nothing new to install
Reached from a phone or facility browser. Optional SMS reminders can point patients back to the portal; no app store is required.
Payments are verified, not assumed
Portal payments arrive pending and are approved or rejected by a cashier before they post to the ledger.
Booking before arrival
Patients can request an appointment before arrival. Staff review the request before it becomes a confirmed booking.
